Black Jack is a semi cactus dahlia producing dramatic dark red blooms with elongated, partially rolled petals that give each flower a bold, spiky elegance and strong visual movement. Mine did not  quite bloom before frost, but because the foliage is so unique, I have no doubt about its trueness to variety.
